On Friday, 23 August 2024, the CATCH4D project team was a guest at the 18th business breakfast organised by the Dorstfeld-West business park management. The entrepreneurs gathered at our ‘Green Room’ on the Swisslog site to discuss the topic of ‘Climate change in the industrial estate’. How does climate change affect working conditions? What can companies do?
Martina Faseler (City of Dortmund Environmental Agency), Malte Kuka (Waste Water Management Dortmund) and Bernd Assenmacher (Wissenschaftsladen (WILA) Bonn e. V.) provided interesting insights on heat stress, heavy rainfall, and their impact on the working environment. ILS scientists Dr. Kerstin Conrad and Dr. Bastian Heider presented our CATCH4D project.
