Holding a diploma degree in geography and a doctorate in urban and regional economics, he is particularly interested in the causes and consequences of unequal spatial developments resulting from transformation processes such as climate change and decarbonisation. As the project manager of CATCH4D, he is responsible for integrating data-based analyses with concrete sustainable actions on the ground. Load more
Dr. Kerstin Conrad
Kerstin Conrad is a senior researcher in the Mobility and Space research group at the [...]Kerstin Conrad is a senior researcher in the Mobility and Space research group at the ILS. Her reaearch as a gradutate geographer with a doctorate in spatial planning focuses on the interactions between the built environment, climate conditions such as heat extremes, and active mobility. Her work places a particular emphasis on the elderly population. Within the CATCH4D project, she represents the field of "heat prevention and heat mitigation" and is responsible for the conception, coordination and implementation of integrative on-ground measures like the "Green Room" in the Nordstadt.
